***Pre-meeting attendance required to be baptized***

Every person who has believed in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation should be baptized.

A believer is someone who has realized that their sin separated them from God. This step is taken after your decision to follow Jesus. It is a public declaration of your personal faith in Him. It is not necessary for salvation, however, it demonstrates a submission to Jesus and a willingness to live God's Way. If you have come to this point in your spiritual journey, then you are ready to be baptized.

"We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are." (Romans 3:22)

FAQ’S

WHY BE BAPTIZED?

1. Following Jesus' Example

"Jesus... was baptized by John in the river." (Mark 1:9)

2. Following Jesus' Command

"Go and make disciples... baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. " (Matthew 28:19)

WHY BY IMMERSION?

1. Jesus was baptized that way.

"As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water." (Matthew 3:16)

2. Every baptism in the bible was by immersion.

(Acts 8:38-39)

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF BAPTISM?

1. It illustrates Christ's death, burial, and resurrection.

"Christ died for our sins... He was buried... and He rose again." (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

2. It illustrates my new life as a Christian.

"For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism, And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives." (Matthew 28:19)

3. Baptism doesn't make you a Christian.

"God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

WHEN SHOULD I BE BAPTIZED?

As soon as you have believed in Jesus!

(Acts 8:36-38, Acts 10:47-48)
